Aldo Mammoliti is one of the last basket makers in Calabria. From San Giorgio Morgeto, at the age of six, he started working and moved to Sicily for the summer season and the transport of vegetables: from 1960 onwards, the advent of plastic that swept away artisans and professionals. However, he did not give up, he continued straight on his way and continues to use chestnut wood for his creations, exporting all over the world. #BeMed
